Former Portland Oregon Revivalist David Woods takes no credit when he says the blind are seeing, the lame walking and the deaf hear at what he believes may become a revival in cities and towns throughout America.

Since the beginning of 2009, he said, large followings have been flocking to revival services being held six nights a week throughout America from Seattle to Miami and from Virginia to San Diego, including Hawaii and Alaska.

Woods a revivalist travelled 47 weeks last year fulfilling invitations from some of Americas greatest church Pastors.  A spiritual outpouring has begun with this young man and can be a tremendous help to the Pastor to restore broken lives. “we basically saw the Glory fall meeting after meeting with great expectation," Woods said, referring to the entire month of May in the Hawaiian Island of Kauai in 2009 when he was invited to stay an entire month where  revival broke out.

"It’s a different kind of outpouring of the Holy Spirit every night,” he said of what is being called a TAKE BACK AMERICA revival, a reference to the moral decay in America. "Each night is spontaneous; one night drug came flooding the altar bench 20 packs of cigarettes, heroin, methamphetamines, and a big bucket of marijuana seeds and leaves. The pastor had anticipated something along the lines of deliverance and had previously pulled a burn permit with the city and had a fire barrel already lit in the back yard of the church. The power of God came down in such a way and it was a joy to see all the things that held people in bondage destroyed and people walk away in freedom.” The illegal substances were properly destroyed while people received help in the church and from church leadership.

Woods was supposed to leave and minister in other places but so often plans would change and the stay would extend. On time a pastor called to cancel a  meeting while the other pastor would be texting asking him to stay another week. It was and is always a complete stirring of the spirit of God in the scheduling.

Without exaggeration, hundreds have come to Christ throughout North America, and the healings and miracles are very numerous numerous.

"We saw signs and wonders and miracles in prior years but it seems like there is an increase. We have not seen it happen to this frequency," he said. "It's much, much more frequent this year and believes 2011 will be a hallmark year."

Last week, a woman who had surgery on a brain tumour had a nerve severed which disabled her hearing for more than 15 years. Upon sticking his fingers in her ears and commanding the ear to hear in the name of Jesus, the ear begin to hear clearly again.

 Two people in Owensboro were healed of sleep disorders another of severe depression and a neck was completely healed.

In Saint George, Utah at the beginning of the year a woman who was bound to a wheel chair from more than 20 years could walk more steps then she ever could while the worship music from Keith Duncan saturated the auditorium with the Power of God.

Arthritis instantly left people’s bodies time and time again as they prayed a simple prayer of forgiveness. Young people felt fire all over them while they were in the altars. Mothers reported complete changes in their daughter’s attitudes in Henderson, Kentucky and Northwest Alabama.

A woman came to a service in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and felt the power of God. No one laid hands on her and upon going to the Doctor on Monday morning, the astonished medical doctor told her that she no longer had to come to Kidney Dialysis after 9 years of treatments.

Woods believes this is a new season when God has begin to pour out His healing presence, and he's praying that revival will spread throughout the American Church again.

"I don't believe it's just going to happen here; I believe it's going to start happening all over America," he said. Woods said, “people are making demands upon the anointing of the Holy Spirit in a time where many Americans are worried-about health care, the economy and the future. "And I think one of the things the Lord is doing-not the only thing-but I think one of the things the Lord is doing is He's showing the American people, ‘I can take care of you. I can heal you. I can be your healer and your great shepherd'"
